Thanks for joining me again for the second half of my most local river trail, the Frome Valley Walkway.
Lets go back to where we finished Part 1, The White Horse pub in Frenchay, North-East Bristol. After a drink it was time to continue my long walk home from the centre of Bristol. I picked up the river path again and continued through woodland before passing under the A4174 and then the M4 motorway.
The path was beautiful along this stretch as we passed through Hambrook and further out into the countryside. The contrast between this section and the beginning of the walk was startling. I enjoyed my natural surroundings as I knew the walk would plunge be me back into the urban before too long.
Our journey along the Frome continues on the next page…
